July 17th - Travel Day
We got up and worked out before packing up. We had one more breakfast on the balcony and watched for the last time a building close to us being torn down. We were quite invested after watching it daily and I am bummed I forgot to get a picture of the almost finished product. After a small glitch with Ryan Air we are airborne and heading to Porto.
Again, our taxi driver was amazing. He gave us a brief layout of the land and explained the city and the suburbs. And he told us about the sandwich of Porto a francesingha and gave us different recommendations of where to eat it.
The place is nice but small, especially compared to our last place. We unpacked a bit and then headed out for dinner. We nicknamed our neighbor Bad Bunny. He enjoyed playing his music loud and rapping with it just as loud.
Woah this place is hilly! We walked down to the river for dinner and ate an okay meal. Kate had her first glass of port and I tried it. We walked along the river and looked at the market stalls and finally found some gelato. We headed to the grocery store, stocked up and headed back to the place.
